Walking to & views within/from Dun Aengus, which is a 2,000 year old fort.  It's the most famous pre-historic fort on the Islands.  Locals say: "I think we will build another 2,000 year old fort for more tourists"!!  Funny sense of humor here!!

Sep. 16.  Took the bus to the port & boarded a boat to Inishmore (45 min. each way), the largest island of the Aran Islands off the coast of Galway.  It is 12 sq. mi.  The islands are limestone & part of the Burren.  They have 7,000 miles of stone walls from the broken up limestone!  If you don't want to walk to the fort, hang in town: shop, buggy ride, eat, drink, relax!!

Walked 3.8 miles today.

The Fort

Just as scenic as Cliffs of Moher!
